This Policy refers to the commitment of Ascent Development Services (Ascent) to treat information of its employees, contractors, clients, and other parties, including site staff and study subjects with utmost confidentiality. This Policy explains in general terms how Ascent ensures compliance to existing Data Privacy Laws and regulations.

Ascent’s Privacy Policy governs the principles and practices that all Ascent employees and contracted personnel must adhere to with respect to the collection, access, use, sharing, and securing of personal or confidential information or data from its own employees and other parties which include, but are not limited to, contractors, clients, site staff and study subjects.

A read and apply awareness is required for all stakeholders whose function is associated with the processes covered by this Policy. Completion of the training must be ensured and documented prior to performing tasks that are part of this Policy.

This Policy will be used in conjunction with the prevailing Data Privacy Law of a specific country where Ascent is working on. Should there be any conflicts between this Policy and the local regulation, the local regulation will be followed.
